Reese Wilson - Volleyball

HS Girl

Reese Wilson has been a verbal leader for our team this year and is ready and able to fill any role we ask her to fill. Reese works hard and has improved a lot this year, keeping our team together in many different ways! -coach Danielle Smith

Evan Prince - Cross Country

HS Boy

Recently, senior captain Evan Prince placed 11th of 239 in the championship division - and 11th of all 634 racers during the day - of the heralded Asics / Alexander Invitational, Evan presently ranks #1 in Region 8-A Private, #2 in Class A-Private, and #21 overall in the state amongst the thousands of high school harriers scurrying cross country courses throughout the state. His work ethic is the pinnacle of the term "work hard" and he is notorious for bouncing back after any adversity. Evan is certainly a role model of GREAT character while leading his team in a multitude of ways. -coach Scott Neal

Haylen McGugan - Cross Country

MS Girl

Seventh grader Haylen McGugan has improved tremendously since last year's cross country season. Her dedication, consistent training, and focus have helped her reduce her cross country 3k time down from 16:54 in 2020 to 14:00, a remarkable sign of fitness growth. Haylen is positive, productive, and persistent in the myriad of running environments and practices we undertake, always seeking to get better. She is a GREAT teammate!

Charlie Harris - Cross Country

MS Boy

Eighth grader Charlie Harris had his best race of the season recently, both in time (13:11 for the 3k) and place, at the Tri State #4 meet held at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. As the season has progressed, Charlie has pushed himself more in practice, mentally taking on the discomfort of running faster throughout the race. He has taken off over seven minutes on the same Towns County course since sixth grade. Charlie can focus distinctly, has a heart of gold, and enlightens practices with his smile and humor! -coach Scott Neal
